Jimmy Johnson, the owner of JanEco, is a man with a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to preserving the environment. Born and raised in South Florida, Jimmy spent over 20 years as a successful diamond wholesaler and was also the corporate finance officer in the stock brokerage he owned. As an avid fly fisherman and conservationist, Jimmy was concerned about the impact of harsh cleaning chemicals on the environment. During his search for a cleaning business to purchase, Jimmy examined multiple companies and consistently noticed a disturbing trend. At each business he considered, he observed that workers were not valued as people and the companies lacked eco-friendly cleaning processes. Jimmy understood that his product was the people that he worked with, and he decided to build his own cleaning enterprise from scratch, using environmentally conscious methods and treating his workers with respect and dignity. Using common sense cleaning methods and less harmful chemicals, he attended workshops and seminars to learn all he could about the industry and built Janeco Building Maintenace into the largest privately-owned cleaning company in South Florida. Jimmy is committed to providing the highest quality cleaning services to his clients while also protecting the environment. He takes great pride in his work and his team of dedicated employees who share his passion for cleanliness and customer satisfaction. When Jimmy is not working, you can find him out on the water, fly fishing and enjoying the beauty of nature. Jimmy inspects every account at least once a month in person!

What Makes Us Different

Easy Transition Procedures

Our streamlined and detailed starting procedures make it simple to transition when starting a new contract. The only change your tenants notice is how clean the building and offices are on Monday morning.

Professionalism

Our uniformed workers are trained in all phases “green cleaning” methods. All staff wear picture ID badges and are required to pass all on the-job training tests before being allowed to work. This is achieved with cleaning manuals, videos, and classroom instructions.

Security and safety

Safety procedures are taught weekly and is part of the reason JANECO has never had a worker injured in the last 33 years. All employees are background checked, and no person with criminal record is employed. Our staff is trained to not unlock doors for anyone, even if they have ID and proof they work there.

Reliability

We take pride in maintaining a reliable and trustworthy partnership with our clients. Our dedicated staff is always ready to assist in any and all emergencies within one hour. You have direct line to owner and GM 24/7.

Detailed Cleaning

Before we start every contract, we bring in several crews to completely detail your building from corner to corner. This is at no charge to you and although a considerable expense to us it prevents us from having to play catch-up.
